Welcome to our first One Day Auction Online.
Every week, I personally select 3 watches or 3 pieces of jewellery, chosen for their rarity, interest, quality and carefully considered estimates.
This first edition presents three very different watches, spanning from the 1970s to a more contemporary 2021 piece.
We start with a modern watch from Cuervo y Sobrinos, selected for its quality, character and exceptional presentation.
Dating from 2021, the watch comes with its original accessories and warranty papers, making it an attractive complete set.
With an estimate of £1,000, it represents an interesting opportunity for collectors looking for a distinctive modern watch at an accessible level.
I personally prefer vintage watches, but as a cigar lover I have always appreciated the Cuban spirit behind Cuervo y Sobrinos — and this complete set certainly caught my attention.
We then go back to the 1970s and early 1980s with an elegant classic gentleman’s wristwatch in 18K yellow gold.
The original patina gives the watch a particularly attractive vintage character, while the lacquered black dial creates a sophisticated and timeless look.
It is the kind of watch that reminds me of the elegant taste of this period — discreet, dressed and easy to wear.
For our third selection, we move into the 1980s, when the Must de Cartier became an important part of Cartier’s watchmaking story.
I selected this Cartier Tank Must particularly for its Red Deco dial, its rarity and its original presentation, including the box and petit livret.
The watch is in perfect working order and is estimated at £1,000.
For a Cartier collector, the combination of the dial, condition and original accessories makes this an interesting piece to consider.
We believe that for the true connoisseur, a selection ranging from approximately £1,000 to £4,000, offered with NO BUYER’S PREMIUM, creates an interesting way to acquire a quality watch online.
This is the philosophy behind our One Day Auction: small, carefully curated selections rather than endless catalogues.
I select the watches. You decide how far you want to bid.
Thank you for joining us — and enjoy the weekend.
