Notes
Dial Features & Significance

The most striking element of this watch is the custom dial, which carries deep regional significance:

• The UAE National Crest: At the 12 o'clock position (or centre-top), you see the Eagle of Saladin (or the hawk). In its centre is the UAE flag, often surrounded by seven stars representing the seven Emirates. This emblem signifies national pride and authority.

• The Arabic Signature: The script at the 6 o'clock position is typically the signature of a high-ranking official or a member of the Royal Family. Given the era of this Ebel model, it often features the signature of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (the founding father of the UAE) or Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

• Gemstone Indices: Instead of standard hour markers, this "rare" variant features diamond hour markers, which, combined with the gold-tone dial, place it in the luxury/presentation category of the 1911 line.
